With the Model USA-5 vintage style radio, you get the best of both worlds: yesterday's cosmetics and vintage cassette player feature along with todays premium sound quality and compatibility with modern music technology. All Custom Autosound radios are manufactured specifically for classic/custom applications and are designed to fit directly into your dash with no assembly or modification required. This radio has vintage-style knobs that are customized for your vehicle's year/make/model that give a perfect look in your dash. Each radio is customized to include the correct size/configuration for your car or truck, the appropriate logo/emblem on the radio face, and vintage-style knobs for your vehicle's year/make/model. This vintage style radio is available for over 400 different year groups and makes of American and European vintage cars and trucks.

Although the USA-5 radio looks vintage and is a perfect fit for your classic vehicle, it has all the latest modern technology, including:

Built-in CD controller providing you with complete control via the radio face buttons (with no FM modulation required) of an optional 10-disc CD changer (sold separately). This provides premium digital sound quality when playing CDs and no unsightly wires visible from the front of the radio.
The radio's built-in CD controller also facilitates use of the optional iCAMKIT iPod interface accessory (sold separately) that turns your iPod on/off and charges it while giving you control to advance songs or play list from the buttons on the radio face. The optional iCAMKIT accessory allows you to keep your iPod hidden away in your glove box or console because you can control your iPod directly from the buttons on the radio face.
With 240 watts of power, the Model USA-5 radio should have all the power you need. If you want more power, there are four pre-outs jacks on the back of the radio for optional amplifiers.

This radio is manufactured by Custom Autosound as a "kit" modified to fit your specific vehicle. Each radio is customized according to your vehicle's unique year/make/model, so the radio fits your dash right out of the box. No additional bezels or dash cutting is required to get the radio to fit and look perfect in your vehicle. The USA-5 vintage style radio features:

All of our vintage style radios require a 12 volt, negative ground power source to operate properly. If your classic car is equipped with a 6 volt electrical system, you will need to use one of our 6 volt to 12 volt power converters (part number NGVB-HC) to make your new audio system function properly.
