USA-630 Vintage Style Radio for Classic Air-Cooled Volkswagen

This radio has large OEM style push-buttons and vintage-style knobs that are customized for your vehicle's year / make / model that give a perfect look in your dash. Each radio is customized to include the correct size/configuration for your car or truck, the appropriate logo/emblem on the radio face, and vintage-style knobs for your vehicle's year/make/model. This vintage style radio is available for over 400 different year groups and makes of American and European vintage cars and trucks. 

• USB input on the back of the radio that allows you to plug in an MP3 music player (iPod or other brand) or USB flash drive to play MP3/WMA song files. The USB jack is on an 18 extension cable which allows you to place your music player in the glove box or ash tray for easy access (no unsightly wires or plugs visible from the front of the radio). 
• Large alpha numeric display to show the song/artist/album (id3) titles during playback of MP3/WMA files. 
• Built-in CD controller providing you with complete control (no FM modulation) of an optional 10-disc CD changer (sold separately). This provides premium digital sound quality when playing CDs and no unsightly wires visible from the front of the radio. 
• The radio's built-in CD controller also facilitates use of the optional iCAMKIT iPod interface accessory (sold separately) that turns your iPod on/off and charges it while giving you control to advance songs or play list from the buttons on the radio face. The optional iCAMKIT accessory allows you to keep your iPod hidden away in your glove box or console because you can control your iPod directly from the buttons on the radio face.

With 240 watts of power, the Model USA-630 radio should have all the power you need. If you want more power, there are four pre-outs jacks on the back of the radio for optional amplifiers. The back of the radio also has auxiliary audio input for plug-in of satellite radio or portable music/CD/cassette player.

This radio is manufactured by Custom Autosound as a "kit" modified to fit your specific vehicle. Each radio is customized according to your vehicle's unique year/make/model, so the radio fits your dash right out of the box. All of our vintage style radios require a 12 volt, negative ground power source to operate properly.  If your classic car is equipped with a 6 volt electrical system, you will need to use one of our 6 volt to 12 volt power converters (part number NGVB-HC) to make your new audio system function properly.
